Elastio Sales Development Rep
Elastio is an exciting new software startup headquartered in Reston, Virginia. We are changing how companies protect, secure, and defend their applications in the cloud. Elastio was founded by seasoned software executives and backed by Bain Capital Ventures. We are looking for Sales Development Reps to join us on our fast growth journey.
We are looking for people looking to build a career in software sales who enjoy interacting with customers and prospects while delivering high value, cutting-edge technology.
Your primary responsibility will be to establish initial contact points within prospective customer accounts through outbound calling and email communication. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be highly ambitious.

Responsibilities
What you will be doing
- Serve as the first point of contact and provide product information to prospective and or current customers
- Lead identification and qualification
- Responsible for being the source of new business generation for Sales Executives or Account Managers by prospecting for new clients, pursuing both warm and cold leads, and maintaining relationships with engaged clients
- Partner with Senior Sales Team to achieve new business quotas
- Attend industry events to meet with prospective customers
- Drive traffic to Elastio online demonstrations
- Provide feedback for product enhancements
Qualifications
What you need for this position
- Excellent critical thinking skills
- Bachelor's degree with strong academic credentials
- Six months - 1 year of full-time work experience- preferably in sales
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong sense of initiative and personal leadership
- Ability to work within a team to achieve goals
- Strong business acumen, ethics, and high integrity
- Excel at developing relationships over the phone
- Ability to handle high outbound call volume (50-60 calls/day) with correspondingly high talk time
- Must be articulate, organized, detail-oriented, competitive and can multi-task in a dynamic, fast-changing environment
