As an Account Executive, you will identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities for our data protection and cyber recovery software solutions. You will work closely with the Marketing and Product teams to develop and execute lead generation and demand generation campaigns and manage the sales pipeline from initial contact to close.

Key Responsibilities
What you will be doing
- Identify and qualify potential customers for our data protection and cyber recovery software solutions
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers within these potential customers
- Conduct software demonstrations and present the software's capabilities and benefits to potential customers
- Create and implement sales strategies to close deals with potential customers
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute lead generation and demand generation campaigns
- Manage the sales pipeline, including forecasting, tracking, and reporting on sales progress
- Negotiate and close contracts with enterprise customers
- Continuously stay informed about industry trends and competitor activity to ensure that sales strategies are effective
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and quotas
Qualifications
What you need for this position
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- 2-4 years of proven experience in SaaS software sales, with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, to effectively demonstrate and sell software products
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills to close deals and manage objections.
- Strong time management and organizational skills to manage a sales pipeline and meet deadlines.
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software, such as Salesforce, to track and manage sales progress
- Familiarity with data protection and cyber recovery software trends and technologies, as well as the ability to stay informed about industry developments
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong desire to learn and grow and to be able to adapt to new technologies and trends
- Knowledge of cyber security and data protection industry is a plus
